St Paul’s SEISA Swim Win
It has been another successful year for students in the St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School Swim team who have once again brought home the championship title from the SEISA Swimming Carnival at Melbourne Sports Centres.
The St Paul’s Swim team comprised of Junior School and Secondary School students from both the school’s Warragul and Traralgon Campuses. A number of younger swimmers commendably competed in higher age groups to fill gaps, with many of them outshining their older competition.
A highlight of the competition was the U/21 female 4x50m Medley Relay team of Molly (Year 12), Zoe (Year 12), Abby (Year 12) and Ruby (Year 9) who broke the previous record for this event from 2018, which was held by St Paul’s.
Phoebe (Year 7), Brody (Year 8), Mollie (Year 12), Molly (Year 12) and Josh (Year 12) were St Paul’s Age Champions on the day.
Molly won her sixth Age Champion award, having won the award for her age group each year she has competed.
SEISA (South Eastern Independent Schools Association) hosts team sports, cultural events, carnivals and a leadership weekend for students from Newhaven College, Gippsland Grammar, Beaconhills College and St Paul’s allowing students to compete against some of the best schools in Gippsland in friendly competitive competitions.
