Official opening celebrates new facilities

St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School recently celebrated the new facilities at the Warragul Junior School with an official opening and dedication.

The Right Reverend Dr Richard Treloar (Anglican Bishop of Gippsland) performed the dedication of both the new “Learning and Administration Centre” and “Early Learning Centre Extension” which are the latest additions to the St Paul’s Warragul Junior School.

The new Learning and Administration Centre building incorporates five classrooms, smaller break-out rooms, student services, the new administration/reception area, as well as staffroom and toilet amenities. This building was made possible by a grant under the 2019–2020 Victorian Government Non-Government Schools Capital Fund for an amount of $2M.

A refurbishment of the former administration building enabled the facilities at the Warragul Campus Early Learning Centre to be expanded. This was made possible by a Capital Grant of $600K from the Victorian State Government.

Despite many challenges experienced during the construction period due to the impact of COVID-19, the school was fortunate to have the building completed for the 2022 school year.

The official proceedings were attended by members of the School Board, community members and students and staff.
