A landmark occasion for Futures Centre
St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School welcomed back founding families, staff and community members who have been integral to the campus since its establishment in 2002 for the Official Opening and Dedication of its brand-new Futures Centre.
The vibrant celebration marked a landmark occasion in the school’s history, as it prepares to introduce Years 11 and 12 from 2026, catering to senior students in the Latrobe Valley, whether they pursue further education or enter the workforce.
Formal proceedings featured the Head of St Paul’s Traralgon Secondary School, Leonie Clark, reflecting on the land’s history and significance, followed by a dedication and blessing by The Right Reverend Dr Richard Treloar (Anglican Bishop of Gippsland).
Amidst applause, the building’s plaque was proudly unveiled by Principal Cameron Herbert, School Board Chair Darren Jennings and The Right Reverend Dr Richard Treloar.
The evening was further elevated by the musical talents of student musicians, adding a melodic touch to the occasion.
Following the formal proceedings, guests gathered for refreshments and lively conversations, united by joy to witness the fruition of the school’s vision.
With the inaugural Year 12 cohort set to graduate in 2027, the state-of-the-art Futures Centre features cutting-edge amenities designed to enhance the educational experience.
