One Year at Drouin: New Centre Opens
St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School’s Drouin Campus has marked another major milestone, celebrating the opening and dedication of its new Junior School Learning Centre as the campus celebrates its first anniversary.
Guests gathered for the special ceremony, which recognised the continued growth and development of the campus since opening its doors in 2025. The school welcomed The Hon. Harriet Shing MP, Member for Eastern Victoria, to officially open the new facility, and The Right Reverend Dr Richard Treloar, Anglican Bishop of Gippsland, who performed the dedication.
Designed to foster collaboration, creativity and flexibility, the new learning centre features six paired learning areas connected by a central shared learning ‘street’ for specialist learning activities. The hub extends seamlessly to outdoor spaces beneath an extended roofline, encouraging play-based learning and outdoor exploration while integrating with the natural environment.
The project was partially supported by a $6 million capital grant from the Victorian Government through the Victorian School Building Authority’s Building Fund for Non-Government Schools – Independent Schools, a contribution acknowledged by school representatives as instrumental in delivering the new centre to support growing enrolments and enhance learning opportunities for students at the Drouin Campus.
Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, the event also recognised the campus’ first anniversary. Two Prep students delighted guests by handing out party hats before attendees joined together to sing Happy Birthday to the Drouin Campus.
The occasion highlighted not only the rapid growth of the campus but also the strong sense of community and optimism surrounding its future.
